Should you save Anderson in Dying Light 2 Stay Human?

In the beginning of the main story of Dying Light 2 Stays In Humans, you have two choices. You need to activate the water tower for the Peacekeepers and complete the storyline in Old Villedor with them or transfer the power to the Survivors.

If you choose the old option, you’ll find yourself having to do the Into the Dark quest. Finally, Anderson, one of the Peacekeepers who have supported you in the past, will need your help. You can thank her for the last time she gave you a hand and let her down on her own, or choose to help her.

Unfortunately, this choice doesn’t matter much, except for your own good and Aiden’s conscience. This is because no matter what you choose, Anderson will eventually die.

If you decide to go on your own adventure and ignore her, you’ll just need to do the next quest in your main story.

But once you decide to help Anderson, you’ll be tasked with going to one of the military zones to activate the generator. One of them is broken by a rope, which will require you to do some parkour. However, the second one has an infected flock protecting it and you will need to slaughter them to continue.

When you turn on both generators, the elevator’s power will return. Call it and you’ll find Anderson. Unfortunately, she turned into a zombie and nothing can change this. You can help her out of her misery and take the spoils as a consolation reward. Should you save Anderson in Dying Light 2 Stay Human?
