Ganyu can greatly benefit from having Amos’ Bow as his weapon. Even after releasing other bows, no one managed to change Amos is Ganyu’s best location. Considering Qilin has a high base attack (fifth highest in The Genshin effect), Bow A’s ATK sub-stat will be a big boost for her. Furthermore, Adeptus can be easily used passively, making it a must-have weapon for players looking to maximize Ganyu’s performance.

However, it should be noted that This bow does not provide a Critical Secondary stats, so players may struggle to get a good Crit rate. Fortunately, though, since Ganyu is a Cryo unit, building Critical Rate should only be a walk in the park.

Is Vortex Vanquisher good for Zhongli in Genshin’s impact?

Zhongli with her Polearm
  • Basic Attack: 608
  • Secondary stats: 49.6% TC
  • Passive: Increases shield’s strength by 20%. Hitting an opponent increases ATK by 4% for 8 seconds. Maximum of 5 stacks. Can only happen once every 0.3s. When protected by a shield, this ATK boost is increased by 100%.

In a nutshell, the answer is “no.” Vortex Vanquisher not good for Zhongli. To understand why, players must first understand the mechanics of the Vortex Vanquisher. First, the weapon’s passive gives 20% Shield Strength, an important power, but only works on characters holding weapons. Remaining passive, grant more ATK when the character hits an enemy, only works if the operator is present on the field. So it won’t work if Zhongli is out in the yard. And finally, Geo Archon is best built on HP%, while Vortex Vanquisher offers ATK% Sub-stat instead.

So while This pole looks the best aesthetically on Zhongli, it’s far from meta. Geo Archon is best suited to an off-field support role, where he only takes field time to grant a large shield and a decent CC. It’s the opposite of Vortex Vanquisher’s passive and secondary stats that give Zhongli more damage if he’s still on the field. Therefore, the weapon is not the best choice for him. Instead, Zhongli can benefit from weapons like the Staff of Homa and the Black Tassel.

The Genshin effect Now available on Mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
