Morgan Stanley’s director of US equities, Mike Wilson, the year-end outlook for the S&P 500 index sees the index fall to 3,900, about 17% below current values. He said this week he’s still holding on to his bearish view, though he’s raised his target to 4,400 over the next 12 months – which still needs a 6% drop to turn out nice.
