Shohei Ohtani Donates Home Run Derby Money to Angels Staff

League major pitcher and designated hitter Shohei Ohtani Lately, the news has been made more for criticism from others than for his own numerous outstanding recent achievements. But he was back in the spotlight overnight and came Saturday when his decision on what to do with his Derby Home Run money was reported and made headlines on social media.
Before the Derby, Ohtani had decided that, whatever the outcome, he would share with non-player members of the ball club. And that’s exactly what he did, spreading the $150,000 he made to Los Angeles Angels coaches, club staff, and staff.
