Shiny Pokémon is said to have distinct sounds, images when spawning in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Shortly after Game Freak introduced the different types of encounters and reactions that wild Pokémon can have in the world’s outer world. Pokémon Legend: Arceus, players are interested in how the new game will handle shiny Pokémon. But it seems some of that worry is unnecessary.
According to some leaked footage from copies of the game obtained prior to the official launch, Shiny Pokémon in Arceus will not only appear obvious in the underworld, but will also make distinct sounds when they appear.
The new sounds, along with the sparkling visuals that are always associated with shiny Pokémon, will make it very hard to miss a Shiny in the wild, which should put some players at ease. However, we still don’t know if Shiny Pokémon would behave differently from other Pokémon of their species or if they would still have the ability to run away if they were a Starly, for example.
We still don’t have a lot of leaked details about how Shiny encounters work beyond this new information, but knowing that the underworld Shiny swarms are returning should be enough to make most All players are satisfied.
It also looks like there’s at least one guaranteed Shiny in the game, as early gameplay footage from the leaks suggests a side quest involving a shiny Ponyta that the player can catch. No other information about that is available.
