What are you doing? Not having oral sex can be a big deal for most people. On a recent visit to Angie Martinez’s Power 105.1 New York radio show, Shenseea addresses a very common stereotype on the subject of oral sex and Jamaican men. When subject show, Shenseea provide a little cultural understanding of the view that Jamaican men have a certain aversion to keeping their faces below the waistband during sex.

When asked if she had ever experienced a Jamaican man refusing to take it down to the South, Shenseea speak:
“Me? No! I mean, once a man loves and respects a woman [anything is on the table]. Whatever. I feel like people are more open to it. As Jamaicans, they were more open to that. “

Shenseea reason that this stereotype may have been a thing of the past generation. She considers aversion to be a belonging to Culture thinking and perhaps a bit of ego. When asked why she felt this action was objectionable, Shenseea provided this details:
“It’s just a stigma…ya know. All of us’bad guy‘ and ‘bad loyalist. ‘ We don’t want anything that can lower our egos or make us feel inferior or weak. So I feel like it’s just about that, so whatever people are doing behind closed doors, they keep it behind closed doors. “
