Shake the Lake returns to Queen City

After last week’s Queen City Ex and Regina Folk Festival, another Regina tradition is about to begin.

Shake the Lake is back in Queen City with performances running throughout Friday and Saturday.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announce season ticket prices ahead of the 2023 season

This is the second consecutive year that the Classic Rock Festival is being held after being canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19.

“We’re super, super excited to be doing it again,” said Neil Donnelly, the chief executive officer of the Conexus Arts Centre.

He said the music in particular, it’s the atmosphere that excites him the most.

“It’s a great setting with Lake as the backdrop and the people that come out, they’re all there for great classic rock music from Canada and the US,” Donnelly said.

Friday’s artist lineup includes:

4:45 p.m. School of Rock
17:30 Kick ax
19:00 soldier
8:45 p.m. April wine

The gates for Friday’s show open at 4pm

On Saturday the fans can expect:

3:15 pm It’s a secret
16:00 Doug & the Snails
17:15 Prism
18:45 The tubes
8:45 p.m. Spaceship

The gates open at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

As well as the music, there are also beer gardens, food trucks and even a cornhole where people can compete.

Tickets for Friday’s show are already sold out, but tickets are still available from Saturday.

A day pass costs $85.00 and a weekend pass costs $159.00
