Seth Meyers Returns From COVID To Kill Ted Cruz’s ‘Poor’ Tucker Carlson Groveling

“Well, here we are again,” says Seth Meyers from his fifth remote location since the start of the pandemic in his latest episode of Late night. After tested positive for COVID-19 last week, Meyers abruptly canceled several shows before returning to work while still in quarantine on Monday night.

The presenter went on to joke that when he tested positive, “I tried getting some of that horse paste mix, but they ran out at my local feed store,” mention ivermectin. Meyers then compared the debacle to “one of those cable news segments where a reporter is willing to take on the assignment just to show everyone how bad it is.” Even more embarrassing was when Cruz tweeted the clip of him doing somersaults, “it’s like posting a video of you landing first on the rails while skateboarding with the caption ‘CHECK HOW EPIC HERE’ TO BE’ ‘.

But as he usually does, the host turned the funny thing back into something deadly serious. This is the core of modern GOP politics, he said. “You have to prove to the ground that you have no dignity, that you are willing to humiliate yourself for them, and that there is nothing too pathetic for you to win their favor.”
