SEE IT: Pro-GOP Group Compares Liz Cheney With Hillary Clinton In New Ad

A new offensive ad from a GOP-affiliated group compares Republican Representative Liz Cheney to Hillary Clinton while highlighting Wyoming Republicans’ willingness to accept House Democratic leadership nominations to a panel. The judge was empowered to investigate the protests in the Capitol on January 3.

The 30-second ad was produced by the Action for Growth Club, the political wing of the Club for Growth, a smaller pro-government group.

The ad is expected to play statewide in Wyoming as the state has only one member of the US House of Representatives.

The ad begins with an image of the former first lady, who is also the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, former New York senator and 2008 Democratic presidential candidate.

It then referred to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who appointed Cheney to one of eight Democratic positions on the Jan. 6 panel. Earlier this week, after Pelosi rejected two of the five GOP nominations to the panel led by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., He withdrew all selections.

That made Cheney, the daughter of former vice president and defense secretary Dick Cheney, the only Republican on the committee, the Washington Examiner reported.

“Recall? She benefits from a well-known political surname,” the ad narrator said.

“She sided with Nancy Pelosi and attacked President Trump while he was in office. She supports impeachment, and she continues to attack President Trump today,” the ad continued.

“Hillary Clinton? No, Liz Cheney,” the voiceover noted.

At that point, the photo of Clinton turned into one of Cheney.

The ad then concluded, “Liz Cheney was wrong about Trump, and she was wrong about Wyoming in Congress.”

When asked to respond, a Cheney spokesperson cut the ad in a statement: “Anyone who questions Liz Cheney’s conservative credentials is either unaware or lying.”

That said, the Club for Growth Scorecard, which is based on congressional ratings based on voting records as they relate to “economic freedom,” gave Cheney a lifetime rating of 64%. .

That “puts her tied at 120th in the House,” the group noted.

The ad was first released on Wednesday after Cheney accepted one of eight Democratic positions on the committee last week.

The Executive Board will be led by Representative Bennie Thompson, D-Miss; he said earlier this week that issuing a subpoena for Trump to appear was not “off the table.”

Regarding the issue of subpoenas for Trump, Thompson told PBS on July 6 that “we have the authority to subpoena.”

“If the facts themselves lead us to any individuals, we will not hesitate to bring them before the committee,” he said.

Earlier this week, Trump announced that he would be meeting with candidates lined up to challenge Cheney in next year’s GOP primary in Wyoming.

“Watch out for Wyoming House Primary against RINO loser Liz Cheney. Several highly respected pollsters told me she raised a toast in Wyoming after siding with Crazy Nancy Pelosi and supporting the Democratic Party’s Hoax,” Trump said in a statement. through Mr. Save America’s political action committee on Tuesday.

“And that is just the beginning! This is a ‘hot’ race with some very interesting candidates running against her,” he added.

“However, keep in mind that in the end we only want ONE CONTENT against Cheney,” Trump continued.

“I will be meeting some of her opponents in Bedminster next week and will make my decision on who to endorse in the next few months. ONLY ONE STUDENT. Thank you!” said the former president.
