Sea of Thieves 2022 roadmap shows what will happen in seasons 6, 7, 8 and 9
Sea of Thieves is Rare’s consistently popular open-world pirate game that has sold 5 million copies on Steam and remains one of the most played games on Xbox. Rare has managed to maintain Sea of Thieves fan base by regularly releasing new content for the game. This is thanks to seasonal content and more significant updates, with one of the biggest being Sea of Thieves Anniversary Update dropped in 2019 and added a bunch of new features for fans to enjoy.
Rare does not slow down ‘s support Sea of Thieves in 2022. In contrast, Rare will continue to support its pirate game throughout the year with regular content drops, new ways to play, and more. Rare released a Sea of Thieves The 2022 roadmap shows fans exactly what they can expect from this year’s pirate game, including New Adventures and Mysteries, Sea Fortress raid, etc.
While Rare has provided a Sea of Thieves Roadmap 2022, it should be noted that not all the content listed in the roadmap has been deepened. Considering this, some New Sea of Thieves content coming in 2022 is pretty vague at the time of this writing. However, Rare has been much more open about what Sea of Thieves fans can look forward to the upcoming Season 6, due out in March 2022, bringing with it Sea Forts and other new content.
The Sea of Thieves The Adventures will begin a little earlier than Season 6, with the first set to kick off in February as a limited-time Covered Islands Adventure, available in-game from April 1. February 17 to March 3, giving fans a few weeks of testing no.
Sea of Thieves Roadmap 2022
Every new season of Sea of Thieves 2022 will include some of the same content. Fans can look forward to three Sea of Thieves Adventures each season, as well as ongoing Mysteries, Monthly Emporium content, New loot cards with new rewards and special Community Day events. However, each section will also be notable for the addition of some significant new content to Sea of Thieves.
When Season 6 begins in March 2022, Sea of Thieves players can look forward to Pirate Legend and Sea Forts content. Sea Forts in Sea of Thieves is essentially a raid version of the game, with the player being able to tackle various types of Sea Forts and get special rewards. Sea Forts in Sea of Thieves will adjust the difficulty based on one’s crew size, so fight Sea of Thieves player should be able to deal with the content. There will be six Sea Forts in the game, with variations including prison themed forts, overgrown/abandoned forts, and traditional Spanish forts.
It should be noted that Section 6 of Sea of Thieves It’s not just about adding new content to the game. It also deletes some content, like Sea of Thieves Arena mode will be activated at some point in Season 6. Rare has yet to reveal an exact date Sea of Thieves will lose Arena mode, but that’s something fans want to keep in mind.
Then Part 7 of Sea of Thieves will launch in June 2022, promising “new ways to play and progress.” Rare did not provide specifics on what exactly this means. As one might imagine, most of the focus is on Sea of Thieves Season 6 is since next, but more information will be available when Season 7 launches in June 2022.
Likewise, not much Sea of Thieves fans know about the new content title coming with Season 8 in September 2022, adding that it will offer “extended role and mission types.” Right now, there is a several different types of quests for Sea of Thieves completed player, like using the map to find buried treasure and hunt down high-level enemies. One of the main criticisms hit Sea of Thieves is that the low number of mission types can make the game a bit repetitive for heavy players, and therefore more mission types are likely to be welcomed by the wider community.
And finally, Season 9 in December 2022 will feature more social options for the pirate crews. Right away, Sea of Thieves crew There are different ways they can interact with each other, such as playing music together, giving each other food, sharing some snacks at pubs and of course, fighting for treasure. It will definitely be interesting to see exactly how Sea of Thieves will expand its social options, though like with Seasons 7 and 8, fans will have to wait for more information on that front.
