Schools should not remove racist, white men from history lessons. But they shouldn’t be the main vocals either.

My son’s teacher did not intend to promote racial stereotypes. She was very apologetic when my wife and I raised concerns about the assignment, and after a constructive email exchange, she immediately withdrew her lesson. She thanked us for helping her view the lesson she’s been using for years, from a different angle, and vowed to provide a more balanced and historically accurate story in future lessons.
