Sarah Hyland’s new goofy bangs make her almost unrecognizable – See photos

They say a lot can change in a year, and because Sarah Hyland, 2021 has certainly brought a so many, so much about the changes to her hair. In February 2021, the actor transformed into a red hair. Then in June, she became a curly red hair thanks to the Russian virgin curly extensions. Now, nearly six months later, Hyland has now said goodbye to her long hair and is ushering in a new hair era with a shoulder-length bob paired with some brow-swept bangs.

Hyland debuts her new product on the red carpet at the 2021 E! The People’s Choice Awards ceremony on December 7 in Santa Monica, California. Hair designer Nikki Lee of the Nine Zero One Salon in Los Angeles are behind the new Hyland cut. (In fact, Lee is responsible for each of Hyland’s hairstyles this year.)

Lee shared a two-part photo slideshow about her Instagram cut, revealing in the caption that the hairstylist Briana Cisneros will call Hyland’s new bob “a version of the ‘bixie'”, which is a combination of a bob and a pixie cut.

Because we’re almost three weeks into the new year, we don’t think Hyland’s hair changes will be any more drastic any time soon, although we probably shouldn’t cut things off. With all the celebs flocking to get bob haircuts, we think there’s something really brewing in Hollywood water right now. Jessica Alba just showed off her new bob in an Instagram post on December 4th and Zendaya arrived at the Ballon d’Or on November 29 with a chin-length bob. Over a month before Zendaya and Alba broke up, Selena Gomez got her back chin length bob from 2019. Coincidence? I think not.
