A Florida real estate agent was severely ambushed as she tried to sell a home on Thursday, and police arrested a 51-year-old man who was described by neighbors as “a real estate tenant.” satisfied”, who recently moved out of the house.
Sara Trost, a young mother from the United Kingdom who started her own business flipping through discount homes in South Florida, was sitting in her Jeep in her driveway at 12:30pm when the multiple shots, police said.

Hours later, officers arrested Raymond Wesley Reese, 51, of Boca Raton. He is facing a murder charge in connection with Trost’s death.
Police have not revealed a motive for the brutal daylight killing but neighbors say Reese is a tenant who recently moved out of the Coral Springs bungalow.
“There was a disgruntled tenant who was evicted,” said a neighbor, Donna Smith, tell Local 10. “He thought the realtor, who was showing the house, he thought it was the owner of the house, and she was ambushed.”
An unknown person close to Reese told 7 News Miami countered that Reese had been evicted, but said the two had recently decided to move out.
Trost, 40, is remembered as a devout member of the local synagogue who fostered dogs and volunteers at the Paw Patrol Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. She left behind a husband and young child.
“[She was] really love and care. There isn’t a project we started in the community that she wouldn’t be involved with,” said Chabad Rabbi Shuey Biston of Parkland’s Chabad. tell CBS12. “She was just a really special person. Whatever she touches, she turns to gold.”
