Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 starts receiving stable One UI 4 update

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 becomes the second Galaxy smartphone and first foldable Galaxy device to receive the stable One UI 4 update. The company rolled out the stable One UI 4 update to the Galaxy S21 last month and is now making it available to Galaxy Z Flip 3 users in Serbia.

Samsung open One UI 4 beta program for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 last month, and back then we predicted that the company could roll out the stable update in December. And now the Galaxy Z Flip 3 already started receiving the update, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Samsung start rolling out the stable Android 12 update to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 shortly after.

The stable One UI 4 update is currently limited to only Galaxy Z Flip 3 users in Serbia, but we expect it to become more widely available over the next few days.

Talking about the One UI 4 update, it carries the firmware version number F711BXXU2BUKM and includes the December 2021 security patch. Moreover, it includes major changes to many of the apps Samsung is available and us saw some changes in the latest beta. Better optimization for Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100, minor Knox update, adoption of Android 12’s Material You UI are other interesting features in this update.

Meanwhile, Galaxy Z Flip 3 users in Serbia can navigate to Setting » Software updates and click Download and install to receive updates.
