Samsung Galaxy Buds+ and Pro get new feature in latest firmware update

Samsung supports their older hardware pretty well, and their Buds are no exception. The company is now rolling out a new firmware for their Samsung Galaxy Buds+ and Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, which adds a useful new feature.

In addition to the usual system stability and reliability improvements, the Galaxy Buds+ (firmware version R175XXU0AUK1) and Galaxy Buds Pro (firmware version R190XXU0AUK1) also received a new feature – the ability to detect see if you are wearing a headset during a call and then act appropriately.

This will, for example, allow a call to go from the Buds to your handset when you remove the Buds from your ear.

The software is currently rolling out in South Korea and will be coming to the rest of the world in a few weeks.
