Salmonella outbreak in onions from Mexico sends 129 to hospital

The purple, white and yellow onions had been imported from Chihuahua, Mexico, and distributed by ProSource Inc. and any onions labeled as being from Chihuahua, distributed by ProSource or that don’t have a label shouldn’t be eaten and must be thrown away, the CDC stated. Any surfaces or containers that will have touched the onions must also be washed completely.
