S1mple Explains How The ‘NAVI Era’ Will Begin

Natus Vincere (NAVI) has really dominated 2021 when it comes to CS:GO in every possible way. They left a lasting impression by break a few records and set up some new ones, at the same time witness Rise of Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskyi and complete domination of Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev.

Despite all of this, a debate continues to raged within the CS:GO community as to whether the ‘NAVI Era’ has begun. While many people have given their thoughts and opinions on the matter, all s1mple has to say is “I think people will realize when it starts.”

He went on to explain when and how the ‘NAVI Era’ will really begin in his eyes, in an interview with HLTV.

This has been s1mple’s best year of his CS:GO career to date. He’s won seven MVP (Most Valuable Player) awards this year and is just one more off equaling the record of winning most MVP awards overall.

But this is not a one-man performance for the star, as this year the entire NAVI roster has upped their game, moving forward as an indomitable unit. Not only have they won all of the CS:GO LAN tournaments this year, including the 2021 PGL Major Stockholm, but they are also unbeaten in all of them by not losing a single series.

Despite all the glory and accolades, s1mple is still not completely satisfied and feels the team has yet to achieve enough to call the era of NAVI.

Since the Majors, NAVI has gone on to win BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021 and will see it again at BLAST Premier: World Finals 2021 at the end of December.
