JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – The South African authorities is wanting into increasing the deployment of the navy after days of looting and violence, President Cyril Ramaphosa mentioned, in keeping with a press release from his workplace on Wednesday.
Ramaphosa made the feedback throughout consultations with the leaders of political events on methods to deal with the continued unrest. The leaders urged him to place extra troops on the streets.
“President Ramaphosa welcomed proposals made by political leaders and mentioned expanded deployment of the South African Nationwide Defence Power was being addressed,” the assertion mentioned.
