Rust Lunar New Year event release time
Official release date for Rust The Lunar New Year update is Friday, January 28, 2022. A new patch will be available at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm GMTOnce downloaded players will have access to brand new updates and items.

Rust PC update patch notes (January 28)
As previously mentioned, today’s update will be rolling out to enable Lunar New Year skins and items for 2022. Likely no detailed patch notes will be shared, But here’s what we know so far:
- This Friday, we will be releasing a mandatory update at 19:00 GMT / 14:00 EST to activate items for this year’s lunar new year.
- This week’s limited shop skins will be released tomorrow along with the Lunar New Year update.
