RuneScape will temporarily cause Boss to die for free starting December 6

Die in RuneScape may not be as punishing as other MMOs with permanent mechanics, but it does get a little annoying, especially the need to reclaim gold items. But, starting December 6^NS, Jagex will remove death penalties and costs for specific bosses as part of the Frank Free Death event. The event will last until January 3^rd and there will be a bunch of different bosses every week.

The event will allow players to acquaint themselves with bosses they don’t dare take, and will give developers the chance to gather data to improve the game’s death system, which they admit can use lots of improvements.
