Rumors of Samsung Galaxy Book Fold 17 folding laptop reappear

In September We’ve reported that Samsung’s folding laptop plan is still live, according to Ice Universe, reliable leaker.

Today SamMobile reports that Samsung Display has continued to introduce many folding screen devices, including a folding laptop. Besides, a rumor on Korean websites also suggests that the folding laptop could launch earlier than expected in 2022.

Samsung has been working on a so-called horseshoe laptop for some time now, a standard 17-inch design with a folding screen meant to run Windows 10X.

Of course, Microsoft’s plans have changed, with the cancellation of Windows 10X and Microsoft’s move to Windows 11.

Intel’s “Horseshoe Bend” concept shows a 17-inch folding tablet that folds into a 13-inch laptop, with the bottom display turning into a keyboard. Samsung Display will offer folding screens, Intel processors, and Microsoft’s operating systems tailored to fit the style.

These devices were always slated to launch in 2022, and if Samsung keeps pushing, it remains to be seen how Microsoft will support this effort with revisions in Windows 11. Rumors of Samsung Galaxy Book Fold 17 folding laptop reappear
