Rosario Dawson & Cory Booker Call It Away After 2 Years Of Dating

“Star Wars” actress Rosario Dawson and US Senator Cory Booker have announced their separation after more than two years of dating.

The news was first reported by PEOPLE that a source close to Booker confirmed that they were no longer together. However, the couple is still said to be good friends.

The couple first met at a political fundraiser in 2018. Though the sparks didn’t fly immediately, Booker admitted to the Washington Post that he fell in love with her when the pair reconnected in 2019. .

“I mean, man, we talked for hours that night,” recalls Booker. “I had trouble asking for her phone number… I think I said something really stupid like, ‘Uh, how do I contact you?’ And she kindly said something like, ‘Oh, you want my number?’ And inside I was like, “H—, yeah!”

Although Dawson didn’t have any feelings for him at first either, she said she found him “confident”, “capable” and “very attractive”.

“That doesn’t translate to being a super smooth guy,” she said at the time. “That’s not his style.” Instead, she reveals what captivated her about…his sense of humour!

“What makes me win with him is definitely dad jokes,” she teased.

TMZ appeared to confirm the news of their engagement as the pair were spotted together at an airport in Washington, D.C.

“So far it’s been great,” Dawson said at the time. “He is a wonderful person. It’s good to spend time together when we can. ”

Despite her busy schedule as a US Senator and subsequent presidential candidate, Rosario is equally busy with her shooting schedule. However, both have found the time to make their relationship work.
