Rocket League Sideswipe is now available in all regions

Rocket League mobile version ‘Rocket League Sideswipe’ is now available in all regions. Developer Psyonix begins global release on November 16, 2021 with Oceania as the first region to receive the game. The game is currently available in all regions globally and can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Play Store.

Overview of Rocket League Sideswipe

Rocket League Sideswipe is a new mobile-only title that brings the Rocket League experience from PC and console to mobile users. The new game has similar gameplay but in a 2D environment. Despite the transition from 3D to 2D, the game retains the same complex mechanics and requires proper timing to toss the ball around and score some nasty goals at your opponent.

The game features arcade-style action optimized for touch controls. It will come with the option to play private matches and it has a ranking system similar to the original Rocket League. Players will be able to climb through the ranks.

This is a free game with 1v1 and 2v2 game modes as well as a Hoops mode similar to basketball. The game is currently in pre-season and will lead to Season 1 with limited-time content. The game can be monetized with cosmetics and battles.

If you link your Epic Games account to your Psyonix/Rocket League ID, you will receive temporary XP. With the game now out in all regions, players can look forward to the Rocket League and Sideswipe crossover events next month.
