Rob Lowe says Clinton’s White House National Security Adviser asked him about the ‘West Wing’

Rob Lowe there are some interesting stories about his time working on NBC West Wing, including once being questioned in the White House by Bill Clintonnational security adviser on the hit show.

The actor recently visited famous YouTube series Hot Ones, where he answered questions while eating sizzling wings, and was asked about rumors circulating about then-Secretary of State Madeleine Albright’s appearance on the set. West Wing. Lowe, who played the fan-favorite Sam Seaborn on Aaron Sorkin series, confirm the story.

“Madeleine Albright was completely on set, very late. We shot at [John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts]. She wanted to meet everyone,” Lowe host Sean Evans, adding that the cast was shocked but immediately agreed.

“I was in the White House with Bill Clinton and was summoned to the national security force [advisor’s] office, who is actually a tough, tough, barefoot guy named Sandy Berger,” said the TV icon. Snapping his fingers, Lowe said Berger told him “Sit down.”

Lowe added: “And I’m thinking, ‘Oh, I already like it. This should be about my taxes. ‘ And he said, ‘Why isn’t there a national security adviser on your program?’ And I said, ‘Is this what this guy is thinking about in broad daylight?’ “
