League of Legends Senior VFX artist Kevin “Sirhaian” Leroy previously shared a The “slightly different” VFX set for the upcoming Sentinel Graves skin. But it looks like a change in quality of life will affect all Outlaw cosmetics.
Sirhaian discussed the community response to Sentinel Graves’ End of the Road (Q) hitbox today, explaining that its ground stats are different from his other skins. To “ensure fair skins” and “more clarity,” Riot will update all of Graves’ older skins with the appropriate hitbox.
Graves’ Q-flash indicator shows only the width of the original rocket. However, when the rocket returned, the box that hit the target was actually larger although it was not obvious. Since the Sentinel skin accurately depicts the ground stats of the Q hitbox, Riot will extend those obvious changes to all Graves skins.
Sentinel Graves will be slightly different from Outlaw’s other skins, with its VFX changing slightly after level 11. Before 11, Sentinel Graves’ abilities are surrounded by Black Mist. But the Outlaw finally purged the corruption when the energy of the Sentinels of Light shined brightly.
Graves’ new hitbox indicator on all his skins is coming to the PBE tomorrow. The change will make it the active servers in the following patch.
