Valorant Champions: Format and Schedule
The tournament will consist of a GSL-style group format, followed by an 8-team knockout. First, teams were placed into four draw groups based on a combination of their respective final placement at the Challenger events and the strength of their region.
● Group 1 – NA #1, EMEA #1, KR, M3 Winner
● Group 2 – NA #2, EMEA #2, LATAM, BR #1
● Group 3 – NA LCQ, EMEA LCQ, SEA #1, JP
● Group 4 – BR 2, SEA 2, SAM LCQ, APAC LCQ
During the Group Stage, teams will compete in a four-team format, with two knockouts to determine the two winners in each group. In the first round of each group, the teams from Group 1 will face the teams from Group 4 and the teams from Group 2 will face the teams from Group 3.
After the Group Stage, a random draw will initiate the Qualifier. The four teams that break out of their group in first place will be randomly assigned an undetermined 2nd place team from another pool.
The teams will then compete in an eight-team knockout, with the first round seeing the first-placed teams play against the second-placed team.
