The rapper was ordered to pay for the famous online brand Nova Fashion more than $130,000 in damage. According to the report, Rich owes the clothing store a total of $132,637.75 after a “default judgment” was brought against him in Los Angeles County Court. The default is entered when a party fails to respond to a lawsuit. This includes $100,000 in punitive damages, $29,526 in interest, and $3,111 in costs related to the case.

According to reports, the 28-year-old rapper allegedly breached his contract with the company, including an endorsement deal to promote the brand. Rich the Kid is said to have been paid $100,000 in advance to be contracted with the company. Once joined, his contract was to include him doing some promotional activities, including mentioning the company on social media and thanking them in a in his songs. Fashion Nova said he failed to do so and left them 2.1 million in damages.

After the lawsuit was filed, the “New Freezer” rapper apparently took to social media to respond;

This is not the first time this has happened with the courts for Rich the Kid.

In 2017, the rapper’s former managers sued him for $3.5 million, alleging that he violated the terms of his contract. At the time, the company was issued a default judgment against the rapper and he was ordered to pay them $1.1 million.
