Review of Vantrue N4 3 Channel 4K Dash Cam

I never understood how important a camera was until I really needed one. Curiously, I’ve spent countless hours in the last year scrolling through Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, watching countless terrifying dashcam videos and voyeuristically documenting crazy car crashes, terrifying incidents on road, auto break-in and more related to auto events. And while I’m certainly surprised by many of these videos, I’m not convinced to enable dashcam in my car because I wonder if I really need a dashcam in my car. your car or not. I learned very quickly that I did.
A few months ago, a driver swiped the front of my car in a parking lot and drove away, and since I couldn’t identify their license plate and didn’t capture the event on camera, I up a creek. time to file a $1,000 insurance claim. After that horrible, costly event, I decided to trust all the signs and consider investing in a dash cam that is easy to operate, affordable, and super reliable. I definitely don’t want to be tied down like this again and after reviewing it, I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the control panels are.
Dashcams have been around for a long time and the ones sold today are just as advanced and effective as they are. The best you can buy capture multiple views at once — interior, exterior and rear — and keep all events around and in your vehicle recorded, archived, and ready. Share in case you need to use them.
And while there are any number of dash cams you can buy, there are few brands that are as great rated as Vanture. After some initial research and reading in-depth reviews of all their different consoles, I decided to give the Vantrue N4 3 Channel 4K Dash Cam a try and see if it hits the number of reviews. 5 stars overwhelming or not. I wanted a camera that could take 360-degree panoramas of my car and help me feel secure and safe on the road.
After I installed the interior/exterior camera and the rear camera and rolled, I took the dash cam out and took a spin to get a full view of the image quality. Immediately, I noticed how crisp the 4K image was on the footage. Everything from license plates, road signs, distant vehicles – you name it – is crisp, clear and recognizable in the footage. And if you’re worried about not being able to capture images you might need down the line, rest assured: dashcam footage is stored on a memory card. You’ll need to buy a memory card between 32GB and 256GB for your dashcam as Vantrue doesn’t offer it, but you can buy one from Vantrue or find any reputable memory card for sale on Amazon.
Even at night, dash cam footage is amazingly clear. Although I haven’t had to use it yet, the camera also comes with a built-in G-Sensor, which can detect and record issues and lock captured video to prevent it from being lost or overwritten down the line. With this convenient feature, you don’t have to worry about the camera losing any footage that you may need to access later, such as making an insurance claim or making a police report. Even the on-camera audio captures exceptionally well, although there’s an option to turn the sound off if you’d like.
What I appreciate most about the Vantrue N4 3 Channel 4K Dash Cam is the peace of mind it gives me knowing that I don’t have to drive with anxiety. After my incident a few months ago, I am more vigilant about the drivers around me, but I know that if something unfortunate happens, I will have a solid video to back up my claim in the future. where i have no error.
The way I see it, you’re much better off shelling out $200 or so on a dash cam that you can use for years to come instead of $1,000 on an insurance claim you’ll wish for. I can avoid if I just invest in a dash cam. I’ve been there and done it and can tell you the dash cam is worth the investment.
