Review of Death Wish Coffee

Scouting report: Death Wish Coffee is the perfect product for coffee lovers who enjoy the morning refreshment that their caffeinated beverage provides.
With the holidays fast approaching, my schedule is busier than ever. Morning coffee is one of my favorite daily rituals — especially on days when I know I have a lot to do. It’s the season of mint mochas and egg coffee, and while I enjoy a vacation latte every now and then, I’m the girl who likes to get enough caffeine to get me going and some almond milk. If you also don’t like your soft drink to be weak, Death Wish Coffee will definitely hit the mark. On days when I’m feeling daring and need an extra boost to push through my to-do list, it’s coffee that I turn to.
Coffee Death Wish with twice the strength of other brands, which means it has twice the caffeine — and yes, even for someone with a high caffeine tolerance like me. Offered in both dark and medium roast, the beans are fair trade and USDA certified organic and you can buy them as individual pods or a bag of grounds. I usually don’t choose super strong coffee because it usually tastes too bitter for my liking, but despite the added caffeine, the Death Wish coffee is always smooth and full of flavor.
My dark roast bag boasts that it is “World’s Strongest Coffee,” And I admit, the first time I brewed it, I was a bit overwhelmed. It didn’t have the bold flavor skull and crossbones suggested, but reading the actual brew instructions I realized my proportions were different. You should use 2 ½ teaspoons for every 6 ounces of water, and once I brew a much smaller cup (I usually brew 10 or 12 ounces), I end up with a much stronger cup of coffee.
Don’t let skulls and crossbones scare you, Death Wish Coffee is a great cup of joe. They even have holiday gingerbread flavors, aptly named gingerdead, for those who like their coffee to be an extra festival at this time of year. I know I’ll be sipping Death Wish all season long.
