Restoration PTR Update focuses on Class Balance
Diablo 2 Fans have been eagerly waiting for the end of January because Blizzard is preparing to close the curtain Diablo 2: ResurrectionUpdate 2.4 on action RPG public test fields for testing. Some people may question why an update is so meaningful to Diablo 2 fan. That’s because this will be the first official content and balance update Diablo 2 received since early 2010. Patch 2.4 for Diablo 2: Resurrection now confirmed to release on PTR starting January 25th.
2.4 update for Diablo 2: Resurrection will be viewed primarily as a class balance update, but has a total of three of its core components and several smaller changes. Class balance is the first area, with all seven of Diablo 2: Resurrectionclass of receive changes. Second, there are seven new Rune Words that can be set up into different types of equipment. Third, four new Horadric Cubes are being added to allow players to upgrade their Set items. Additionally, there are changes made to mercenaries, sets, level areas, item tooltips, and more.
Change the class for Diablo 2: Resurrection is the clear focus of the 2.4 update. There’s a new ladder season coming up, and Blizzard is refreshing the meta to make sure the season feels like a whole new thing. There are too many changes to summarize, but it should be clear that all three skill trees for all seven classes have at least one small change. Druid has probably received the most drastic changes, improving usability, melee, and summoning. The Necromancer Probably getting the least impactful changes, although the minor effects on Weak Skills, Skeletons, and Skeleton Mage are noticeable.
The Rune Words could be on par with the most significant class changes in terms of meta transitions. New Rune Words for swords, sticks, claws, as well as bows and crossbows, will provide a variety of building opportunities for testers. There are also two new Rune Words, one that enhances energy management and the second a powerful defensive Rune for both martial arts and magic attacks.
In addition to those two areas, as well as Horadric Cube Formula To upgrade the toy sets, Blizzard even has many other interesting tweaks. 12 different item sets have been buffed to varying degrees, Act III now requires the player to smash the Compelling Orb to access Durance of Hate instead of skipping the Khalim’s Will quest and the sixteen optional zones already have their monster level rise to 85 on Hell difficulty to incentivize players to complete them for rewards.
Suffice it to say, Diablo 2: Resurrectionpatch 2.4 of as it will provide a whole new experience compared to Diablo 2 updates. Blizzard clearly wants Diablo 2 fans come back and experience something different. Plus, if it becomes popular, Blizzard may try even more experimental changes in the future. The PTR update arrives on January 25, with a full release to watch as Blizzard is ready to begin the upgrade.
