Respawn working on a fix for issue that prevented players from getting the Jumpmaster charm as a Twitch Drop
Redo looking into a problem that stopped Apex Legends word players get Jumpmaster’s charm during the EA Play live broadcast today. The exclusive bonus was supposed to be available to players who watched the broadcast, but a bug prevented that bonus from being reduced.
There is no difficulty requirement to obtain the Jumpmaster enchantment. Players are eligible to get it just by watching today’s EA Play Live broadcast with a Twitch account linked to their EA account. However, users cannot receive the drop.
The charm mimics the iconic “You are a Jumpmaster” pop-up that appears when players choose a landing spot for their team in Top. It’s available as a bonus for following the EA Play Live broadcast today to showcase the first season 10 launch trailer, but players can’t claim the Twitch Drop. It’s not clear what caused the problem, but Respawn is working on a fix.
The EA Play Live conference marked the premiere of the season 10 launch trailer, which included another look at the upcoming Battle Royale legend, Seer. Game Director Chad Grenier talk about the character’s ability, which also appears in cinemas and includes a micro drone that tracks opponents and a heart rate sensor that activates when aiming down the sights.
In the first day of this month, Grenier confirms that a ranked version of Arenas will be released in season 10. Also remade shared the first details about the new competitive mode after the EA Play Live stream ended, including a new map rotation for both Arena and battle royale. Olympus is outside of the map group for the first time since its debut in season seven. Rise will only have World’s Edge and Kings Canyon.
