TORONTO – The Toronto Raptors have traded keeper Goran Dragic for the San Antonio Spurs for forwards Thaddeus Young and Drew Eubanks and draft picks, according to Athletic, ESPN and Sportsnet.
Dragic, 35, came to the Raptors from the Miami Heat as part of the Kyle Lowry deal. He played just five games at the start of the season following the rotation of Toronto head coach Nick Nurse, then was given a sabbatical in late November.
Spurs are expected to buy Dragic outright.
Young, 33, is a versatile striker, averaging 6.1 points per game this season. Eubanks, center six feet nine, is on 4.7 points per game.
Toronto also got a 2022 protected first-round pick and a ’22 second-round pick.
