Regina, 22, has been charged after police pursued the stolen Nissan Rogue

A 22-year-old Regina man is charged in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation.
Regina Police say officers saw a speeding vehicle near Angus Street at 4 around 11:16 p.m. Sundayth Avenue.

The vehicle, a gray Nissan Rogue, matched the description of a recently reported stolen vehicle.
Police were able to read the license plate and learned that the license plate had also been reported stolen in another incident.
Later in the evening, various police units also observed that the vehicle ignored traffic signs and drove recklessly.
Permission was granted for the use of a spiked belt, which was deployed around 2:30 a.m
A short time later, however, the Nissan Rogue was found unoccupied in the Ross Avenue and Winnipeg Street area.

Canine units found two people hiding nearby and one was determined to have no criminal involvement. The other person, the 22-year-old, was arrested and charged.
Regina’s Kaleb Braden Ryder was charged with:
- Possessing felony property over $5,000
- Possessing property acquired through felonies under $5,000
- Operating a means of transport in a manner dangerous to the public
Ryder was released on commitment and is scheduled to appear in provincial court on August 18.
