Ready or not PC Best Settings: How to Increase FPS
Ready or not? now available through Steam Early Access, giving first-person shooter fans a new tactical co-op to experience. Unfortunately, not every PC out there can run this game smoothly, with older systems likely to experience stutters, lag, and low FPS. While it can be difficult to achieve 60 FPS even at 1080p, GameRevolution is here to help anyone get higher frame rates with this PC Ready or Not best setup guide.
What are the best settings for Ready or Not on PC?
Despite only launching in early access, Ready or Not already has some good graphics options that players can tweak for better visuals or improved performance. After going through all the settings and monitoring how they affect performance and whether they’re worth the loss in quality, GameRevolution has found that the following settings are the best for increasing FPS:
Best Ready or Not setting for more FPS
- Graphics Presets: Custom
- Screen mode: Full screen
- Resolution: 2560 × 1440 (Original display.)
- Resolution scale: 100%
- Field of view: 90
- ADS Zoom: Enabled
- Texture quality: Epic
- Ball quality: Medium
- Post processing quality: Low
- Anti-aliasing quality: High
- VFX Quality: Low
- Viewing distance: High
- Optiwand FPS: 60
- Frame Limit: Disabled
- Motion blur: Disabled
- VSYNC: Disabled
- Flashlight returns light: Enabled
- DLSS Quality: Quality
In our testing, the loss of texture quality from “Epic” resulted in performance issues. Your mileage may vary according to that setting.
Setting Optiwand FPS to 60 makes the feed much smoother. However, it can come at the expense of performance, so redial if the FPS loss isn’t worth it.
DLSS is only available for newer Nvidia graphics cards. If Quality is not enough to increase performance, then Balanced is the next best choice, followed by Performance.
In other news, those who have seen Spider-Man: No Way Home can watch concept of what’s next for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
The next big Pokemon game, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, seems to have no ability, item to be kept or farmed.
Batman (2022) looked promising from the trailers, but potential spoilers were out there. If you want to dive into the details of this upcoming Batman movie, then The latest parts of the story can be read here.
