Razer unveils Razer Zephyr Pro mask with audio amplifier at CES 2022

Project Hazel’s original vision has finally come to fruition, with Razer announcing Razer Zephyr Pro in CES 2022.

Project Hazel is the original codename of the Razer Zephyr mask that the manufacturer released in October 2021. Like many of its other products, Razer has incorporated its Chroma RGB lighting system on the inside and outside. mask.

When wearing the Zephyr, users can utilize controllable fans to enhance airflow through two of its three air chambers. Although many designs from Project Hazel were incorporated into the Zephyr, the audio amplifier was found to be too heavy and power-hungry to make. It also comes with three or 11 days’ worth of N95 filters with purchase of the Zephyr Starter Pack.

With the introduction of Zephyr Pro, an audio amplifier is now included, making it easier for others to hear the wearer through the mask. While Razer hasn’t said the mask will have it at launch, the company is pursuing voice modulation for those who want sound like Bane or Darth Vader.

Pricing for Zephyr Pro starts at $199, which is $50 more expensive than the standard Zephyr. However, like the Zephyr, the Zephyr Pro will have a starter pack that includes 33 sets of N95 filters for each of the three air chambers in the mask. That amount will last 33 days of continuous use before needing more filters. It will be available around 2022.
