Random: Team Xbox Has A Bit Of A Soft Spot For Paper Mario On GameCube

The GameCube era may not have been as successful as some of the other Nintendo generations, but it was home to a lot of great monopolies.

It has such a legacy, in fact, that the official Xbox social media account on Twitter recently went so far as to suggest why it’s “more than a worthy choice” as a “console”. the best” – when it has great games like Fire Icon: Path of Radiance, Eternal Darkness and fan favorite Paper Mario entry, Thousand Years Gate.

As you can see above, this whole conversation actually started with one Tweet on Xbox in response to “PS5 is better” comment. Xbox thinks the best console is the one you choose to play with, and well, that’s how the conversation turns to the GameCube…

In a separate tweet, the same account expressed his love for Vivian’s character in The Thousand Years’ Door:

While you may not be able to play Thousand Years’ Door on Nintendo Switch, you can always settle for last year’s release, Paper Mario: King of Paper Folding. We have released the latest entry eight out of ten stars and said it was one of the funniest games in the series.
