Rainbow Six Extraction – Quest Objective Guide

Rainbow Six Extract There are quite a few mission objectives that you can try as you progress through the levels. There are certain goals that are easy, while others can be a headache. This is ours Rainbow Six Extract Mission objective guide to help you with the tasks that you need to complete.

Rainbow Six Extract Guide – Mission Objectives

Each map in Rainbow Six Extract There will be three mission objectives randomly drawn from a group. The difficulty level you choose will also determine how difficult these missions are, as well as the amount of XP you will get.

Likewise, Mutations (i.e. plug-ins) may also exist, making these runs more difficult. Finally, some of these missions scale depending on how many players are on a team (i.e., a target might require you to blow up a slot if you’re solo, but it will require three if you have a full team). As always, keep in mind the high-risk, high-reward nature of the game and whether or not you’ll hit these goals.

• Difficulty: Easy
• Mission: Activate Seismic Stations (i.e. laptops) in order.
• Tip: Sneak around and look for laptops so you know where they are, then kill enemies in those locations. You have one minute and 40 seconds to activate each laptop in order, that’s why you’re better off clearing the area so you don’t have to mess around running around.

Follow Nest

• Difficulty: Easy
• Mission: Plant dynamite on the Nest.
• Tip: Sneak around to find and place bombs on the Nest without warning the enemy. It is easy. The problem is that you can accidentally warn a crowd, then alert many others. If all Nests in the level are active, you will not reach the goal. Also, Pulse is pretty good for this particular quest as his scan shows Nest over obstacles.

Biopsy

• Difficulty: Easy
• Mission: Make an elite target takedown.
• Tip: This is another easy quest objective in Rainbow Six Extract. Yes, the elite can be surrounded by other creatures, and you have to go undetected to be able to perform a takedown. However, you can use Smoke Grenades, Stun Grenades, or various abilities (i.e. stun, conceal, and distract) to mask your approach. You can even do a head-to-head takedown as long as the elites don’t spot you right away.

Sample

• Difficulty: Easy
• Mission: Capture an elite.
• Advice: The idea is to shoot elites or blast their surroundings to make a lot of noise. Then back away while moving back to the extraction point. The only danger here is that other mobs can be warned, so try to kill most of them before rallying the elite.

Hunting

• Difficulty: Easy
• Mission: Defeat specific mobs to summon elites, then kill it.
• Advice: This will really depend on what type of mobs are thrown your way. Also, the elite will usually know where you are and it can warn other enemies when it sees you.

Turn off

• Difficulty: Medium
• Mission: Pick up the charge and plant it on the Nutrient Button.
• Tips: You can find the charge on the control panel next to the potentiometer box. After obtaining it, you will need to find the Nutrient Seed and plant it there. The only reason this quest can pose a challenge is when you warn the crowd. Since Nests will respawn until you destroy the Nutrition Button, you will likely have a lot of enemies spawning. Likewise, you are only allowed to use your secondary weapon when carrying a charge. You need to drop it before moving on to your main ability or abilities, which can be a problem during busy times.

Sabotage

• Difficulty: Medium
• Mission: Place an arrow on the Arch Spine and defend it until it explodes.
• Tip: This can be a pretty annoying quest objective in Rainbow Six Extract. That’s because enemies will appear even if the entire map has been cleared and all Organizations have been destroyed. They will come from all directions to slash at the Arch Spine (and you if you’re in the way). Ideally, you’ll want point guard experts like Jager and Tachanka. Sledge is also good as he can smash everyone in melee range.

Serial scan

• Difficulty: Medium
• Mission: Go to three specific areas and wait for the scan to complete.
• Tip: Again, point defense operators prevail here. In particular, Jager can sit back and cover one side while the auto turret handles another passage.

Aberrant Nests

• Difficulty: Medium
• Mission: Destroy five green Nests, then collect specimens from the central organization.
• Tip: The only tricky part here will be the placement of the Nest. Although they are usually in a building or an area, some can be behind obstacles or on different floors. Mobs will start spawning as soon as you destroy the first Nest, so try not to get overwhelmed. Pulse is a good choice for this due to his scanning capabilities.

Rescue

• Difficulty: Medium
• Mission: Find the detained assets and bring them to the mining point.
• Tip: This shouldn’t be a problem if you can clear the area beforehand. However, there are a few caveats. The first is the asset, which, if seen by the player, will be attacked by alerted enemies. This can be a problem if, say, you go into the room where the person is being held and you are accidentally seen by the enemy. The second is that the property will periodically cough and warn other mobs.

Operator MIA

• Difficulty: N / A
• Mission: Rescue the Operator from the Archaeological Tree.
• Tip: The difficulty here is not necessarily related to the task at hand. It’s about the fact that you’ll have to use other Operators you may not be familiar with or haven’t leveled up yet. You can learn more in MIA Operator Mission Instructions.

Enntrance gate

• Difficulty: Hard
• Mission: Enter the singularity and defeat the Protean.
• Tips: Chance for this quest objective in Rainbow Six Extract is pretty random, but it will always be the third and last mission in that level. Try to increase the difficulty to see it more often. You can learn more in Protean boss battle guide.
