Character in Rainbow Six Extract will be incapacitated if they lose all their health, if they are KOed but not made to the exit, or if they cannot exit a level in time. You need to save them if you want to use them again in matches. This is ours Rainbow Six Extract guide to help you rescue the MIA Operator in a mission objective.
Note: We will have a Rainbow Six Extract Tutorials and central features soon, so stay tuned.
Rainbow Six Extract guide – How to rescue a MIA . Operator
MIA Operator Rescue Mission in Rainbow Six Extract will automatically be available if you lose a character. Just select the same area and map, and the quest will be part of the objectives. If it shows up too late in the sequence (i.e. target #3), you can rerun it to see if the order has changed. Better yet, you can reduce the difficulty setting to Medium to make things hassle free.
Note: Inactive Operators will also cause your REACT Milestone (i.e. progression level) to drop significantly based on the XP they earn. You will get these back once they are rescued.
Anyway, the objective of the quest is to find Archaeological Trees in the area. Make sure you’ve cleared most of the nearby mobs, then interact with it by holding down the “F” key.
Doing so will cause red cells to flow through the tendrils to Jiaogulan. Temporarily release the victim and shoot the cells, as letting the plant absorb them will hinder your progress. Drag the character out again (indicated by the yellow part of the progress bar). Failure to do so will result in the character being devoured by the tree and you have no choice but to rerun the quest.
Note: You and your friends can work together on a mission to rescue the MIA Operator (in case the team members were shot down in the previous run). I’m not sure if this is possible through random matchmaking if you’re joining a new group.
Once a character has been freed, bring them to the exit point and place them in the chamber. You can also leave the area using the console and you will bring the character back to base with you. This will complete the mission to rescue the MIA Operator in Rainbow Six Extract.
Note 1: Newly saved characters will have fairly low health, so you’ll want to complete mission objectives and earn XP to restore them to full health.
Note 2: If you enter a “spiral of death” in which multiple Operators are injured or MIA, the game will automatically release the first character you lost. This ensures that you have at least one character to play with.
