Radiance Synergy’s Destiny 2 Nerfed Well with Other Rewards

Destiny 2’s recent patch included an unspecified change to Warlocks’ Wells that no longer synergies with other bonuses.
Fate 2The 30th anniversary pack comes out with one of the biggest sandbox patches the game has ever received and a lot has changed. There are a lot of buffs and nerfs for both weapon prototypes in general and specific items, like the exotic sniper rifle Whisper of the Worm, which can now even compete with newly recommend Gjallarhorn for awesome DPS. While there are many changes to Exotics weapons and gear in general, the focus of the sandbox update is mainly Fate 2There’s a bunch of different abilities and Supers, with the goal of making their use less stressful in PvP, transitions to more gunplay.
Popular choices in Crucible have been gutted, like Shatterdive, and every melee attack and grenade in Fate 2 is given a different cooldown and test the power to bring them more in line with Bungie’s vision of Fate 2. A similar principle applies to Supers, with each of them tied to a specific tier that manages their cooldown. The Warlocks’ Well of Radiance is the fastest regenerative Super in the game, and while players are happy with it, there are more changes associated with it that don’t make a difference in the patch notes.
A Reddit user named m4eix shared a post about the changes made in patch 3.4.0, which now grants some unique Well of Radiance spells for Warlock to use it without opening it. Extend them to the entire team. This has two main effects: the first is Fate 2 players standing in Well of Radiance will no longer benefit from Focus Lens’ bonus damage while the mod is still spinning, and secondly, Warlock’s fireteam can no longer shoot through shields.
Bungie later confirmed that this wasn’t a sneaky nerf, it was simply erroneously omitted in the patch notes. The goal, according to one developer, is to remove the dramatic increase in DPS that comes from the combination of Particle Deconstruction and Focus Lens, something that was never intended to begin. However, this change also leaves Fate 2Hunters in dire situation of last game viability.
Another unspecified change was detected with Gjallarhorn’s hidden perks and combos with other rocket launchers, consider it to have Grenades and Horseshoe active all the time even though the gun doesn’t list it. Furthermore, Exotic can now cause a nearby ally’s missile to wipe out an entire room with a Chain Reaction and deal massive damage with a Lasting Impression.
Fate 2 available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
