If you’re a Jacksonville fan, it’s probably best to use your glasses to approach Jaguar‘Season 2021. The Jaguars have won twice as many games this season as they did in 2020, when they finished their last game in NFL with a 1-15 record. Rookie defender Trevor Lawrence continues to show significant signs of growth. Offense includes other potential young stars running again James Robinson and recipients Laviska Shenault Jr. The team has also shown significant development in defense, led by defence Josh Allen and those who paved the way Myles Jack and Damien Wilson.
With a score of 2-8, Urban Meyer’s team is in a position to have one of the top picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. Depending on how the rest of the season plays out, Jaguar might even have could be in a position to claim the No. 1 spot overall for the second year in a row. That will require the Lions and Jets to finish with better records than the Jaguars. While they don’t have the Lions on the schedule, the Jaguars will head to the Big Apple to face the Jets in Week 16. Jacksonville also has a home game in Week 15 against Texas, who are currently just behind them in the race. to affirm the #1 overall choice.

Bear at Lions (12:30 p.m. on Fox – Thanksgiving Day)
The first of three Thanksgiving Day games, the Lions will try to get their first win of the season as well as their first Thanksgiving Day win since 2016. Two of our NFL Draft analysts currently have New York pick Alabama attacking Evan Neal with the first pick. If picked by the Jets, Neal will share a group chat with the current rookie Alijah Vera-Tucker, who was selected with the 14th overall pick in the 2021 draft.
Like the Jets, the Texans are also linked with some of the top defenses in the draft. Chris Trapasso is now letting the Texans pick Aidan Hutchinson defensively in Michigan with a #2 overall pick, while Josh Edwards lets Houston pick Purdue full-back George Karlaftis. In contrast, Ryan Wilson got the Jets by picking Ole Miss midfielder Matt Corral. In his second full season as the Rebels’ starting quarterback, Corral threw 3,099 yards with 19 touchdowns and 3 interceptions in 11 games.
Falcons at Jaguars (1pm on CBS)
Offensive and secondary are two areas Jaguar could look to fill with their first pick. Wilson now has the Jaguars carry out the NC State attack handling Ikem Ekwonu with a third overall pick. Trapasso has Jacksonville using the option to secure Kyle Hamilton for Notre Dame.
An All-American mid-season consensus, Ekwonu has been named by Pro Football Focus as the best saver in college football. A Bednarik Award finalist, Hamilton leads the Irish with three interceptions and 35 tackles and four breakouts in seven games this season. Hamilton is hoping to return to a disappointing season at Notre Dame after suffering a knee injury late last month.
Eagles at Giants (1pm on Fox)
Offensive, defensive, defender and safe are among the positions the Giants can choose to tackle with their first two picks. Two of our draft experts currently have Big Blue using their first pick on the Aidan Hutchinson defense in Michigan. Hutchinson has recovered from a foot injury that ended the 2020 season early. Going into this Saturday’s game against Ohio State, Hutchinson has scored 9 bags, 47 tackles (11.5 if lost) and 2 cheats in 11 games.
Seahawks in Washington (Monday night on ESPN)
The Jets fans are sure to cheer for Washington, as the loss to the Seahawks will help the Jets go up in the first round. Two of our draft experts let the Jets use one of their first-round picks to pick LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. as a high pick in the first round. In 2019, Stingley ranked second nationally for breakups while helping LSU win the national title. Stingley earned the All-American spot after a standout 2020 campaign.
