Quirky RPG Nobody Saves the World finally has a release date

Developer Drinkbox Studios impressed quite a few players when it released Guacamelee, an exploratory beat-up game starring a beloved luchador, back in 2013. In fact, it was popular enough to eventually spawn a sequel as well as a several crossover occurrences in other indie games. Now, Drinkbox Studios hopes to hit it big again with No one saves the world, a co-op action RPG starring “nobodies” who boast multiple transformations. The developers originally planned to release the game in 2021, but in the end delay it to 2022 without specifying a more specific release date at the time. Now that’s all changed, as Drinkbox Studios just revealed that No one saves the world will be released on January 18.

According to a press release, No one saves the world allows players to transform their primary objects into more than 15 distinct forms, including a robot, a mouse, and an egg. Each form has its own “unique gameplay mechanics”, and players can equip these forms with “over 80 Form abilities to create powerful custom builds”. Controlling “an Egg that can leave slime marks and shoot fireballs” represents only one of the many possibilities the game offers.

In addition, players can “help the strange inhabitants of this world solve their problems” by participating in “unique quests”. Different sets of quests exist for each form and you have to use your head to figure out what to do. You can experience the full game from start to finish through online co-op while listening Sword & Magic soundtrack by composer Jim Guthrie on the go.

Players who have followed the tabs No one saves the world It will probably be exciting to hear that the final game will be released less than two weeks from now. Hope the game will leave many impressions for players like Guacamelee did all these years ago.
