It’s been more than five years since the world lost one of its most beloved musical artists, Prince. But it seems that fans’ appreciation for his tunes hasn’t waned over the past half-decade.

Amid a discussion on Twitter about the three greatest soundtrack tracks of all time, one particular album was named regularly: Heart rain, said to be the author of the Minneapolis-born singer-songwriter.

Don Winslow’s question to internet users everywhere: “You can only have three movie soundtracks. No.3. What is your father? ”

Soundtrack of the American rock film 1984 Heart rain starring Prince and introducing his music, and Michel Colombier was quickly named by many as one of their three essential works.

When Heart rain can stand out as a pretty good movie, the soundtrack is actually what gives the movie its immense fame. Following the album’s release in 1984, it spent six consecutive months at the top of the Billboard 200 and earned Prince an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Indeed, the film is named alongside a number of other legendary movie spots, including Hey brother, where are you? and West story.

Another iconic moment from the 80’s Prince movie is also remembered: the artist’s number one hit single “Batdance.” from Tim Burton’s 1989 movie Batman.

Indeed, the soundtrack remains to this day for many people.
