Premier League: Burnley vs. Tottenham Hotspur postponed after heavy snowfall at Turf Moor

Sunday’s Premier League match between Burnley-Tottenham Hotspur was postponed just 50 minutes before kick-off due to heavy snow at Turf Moor. Despite the best efforts of the court staff, the ground was still unplayable because the cool shot moved too quickly and the game would now have to be rescheduled.
“I have no idea how it could have turned out the way the pitch is at the moment,” Burnley boss Sean Dyche said. “It’s falling so fast and so heavy. It’s still pretty strong right now. The pitch can’t be covered with snow so quickly.
“As you can see, the pitch is covered every time they clear the pitch. The referee also explained the safety angle so it was important to make a decision early. The lines were also removed. They I’m going to have to stop and delete them. It’s a joint decision with everyone involved. We’re ready for the game and I’ve made it clear whether it’s playable or not which we want. – their manager too.”
Tottenham are 7th on the Premier League table with 19 points, while Burnley are in the relegation zone at 18th place.
Despite heavy snowfall on Etihad Stadium, the match between Manchester City vs. West Ham United is still going on as scheduled.
