Powerball jackpot is read after hitting $416 million
As of August 23, Powerball has offered a third weekly draw for faster jackpot withdrawals. Tickets sell for $2 per play in 45 states, along with Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. The draw is televised live at 10:59 p.m. ET on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
