Post COVID Special Get First Trailer From Paramount Plus

Beloved South Park is back again in the first teaser for the upcoming ‘Post COVID’ special, Kyle and Stan both grown up.
Animated comedy series South Park has always been the best at making reckless jokes in modern society and whatever global events are going on. So far, fans have been treated to not one but two specials during the COVID-19 pandemic, and now Tuesday is coming. Paramount Plus has released the first trailer for its upcoming exclusive, South Park: Post COVID.
In 2020 South Park released “The Pandemic Special”, followed by “The Vaccination Special” this year. Then, in October, Paramount Plus revealed the premiere date of the first two films South Park movies to look forward to this year, South Park: Post COVID. “The Pandemic Special” is all about the origin of the virus and the eternal sensory locks while South Park“Special Vaccination” of focuses on the end of the pandemic and the tumultuous 2020 US presidential election. Full details on the focus for this third special have yet to be revealed, but the teaser does offer some clues.
NS South Park The Twitter account posted the video with the caption: “What happened to the kids living through the pandemic? Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny survived but never will be like Post Covid. The 40-second clip begins with an impactful, blockbuster-style opening and dramatic music that tells how much we’ve been through and how things have changed, interspersed with Classic gang movies. We then see adult, somewhat haggard-looking versions of Stan and Kyle reunited over the phone, with Kyle implying that something bad happened and he needs his friends. The clip ends with an elderly Randal alluding to his particular weed variety seen in the previous episode as actually an “exclusive event”, in an amused nod to the company’s ad. such series on Paramount Plus. Cartman and Kenny do not appear in the teaser, leading fans to speculate about what happened to their characters.
Two other COVID-themed specials have been very well received, with South Park“Special Pandemic” of obtaining high ratings, earned an Emmy Award nomination and became one of the highest-rated episodes on IMBD. Now, this “exclusive event” took place later South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a massive $900 million contract with MTV Entertainment Studios. The show’s deal to extend the show’s contract with Comedy Central through 2027, bringing it to a 30th season is impressive, and includes 14 South Park original events exclusively for streaming released exclusively on Paramount Plus. Parker and Stone will be creating two of these original films every year until 2027, and this “Post COVID” event is the first this year, with the second set to be released in December.
The last few seasons of South Park has suffered a bit in the realm of storytelling simply because real-life politics are so absurd that it’s almost too hard to satirize. But expectations grow after the first two specials provide much-needed light during difficult times and there is hope that this new special can do the same. While some hope the upcoming feature doesn’t focus too much on Randal, because South Park“The Pandemic Special” is accused, the released teaser showed a comeback performance in its original form, and fans can’t wait to see what happens.
South Park: Post COVID will be available to stream on Paramount Plus on November 25, 2021.
