Porsha Williams Says She And Simon Guobadia Don’t Have A Wedding Date, Reacting To His Family Having Many Wives

Prior to The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams shared some interesting details about her engagement to Simon Guobadia.

Old housewife Porsha Williams sit down with the talk show host Tamron Hall to discuss what’s next after turning to her peach. She has a new memoir as well as a Real housewives spin-off. In spite of Porsha engaged to Simon Guobadia, she said she wasn’t sure when they would come to a change. When asked about her wedding day, she said:

“We have not set our date yet. We are dating right now. He’s still flirting with me. “

Tamron Hall don’t skip the question and keep pressing Porsha about the problem. Porsha continued:

“You should date, you should maintain the excitement. We are enjoying each other. I am still his special lover, we are in the honeymoon phase. Yeah… it will come. ”

Porsha asserted that their actual wedding date was aired due to Southern culture.

“In the South, we call it the ‘flirting moment’. He still treats me so special, we just bought a house together, we’re moving in. We’ve got a lot to happen…it’s coming. ”

Southern compatriots Tamron not buy By Porsha replied and said that, while she believed the wedding would take place, she also believed that something was holding Porsha backside.

Things get heavier when Tamron lift up Simon statements about Nigerian culture and polygamy. She claimed that his past comments prevented her from coming to her wedding.

“So Simon revealed on the show that his grandfather had 25 wives, and that makes you seem to ask him if he’s ever cheated. He replied, ‘of course. Everyone cheated. ‘”

Again, Porsha blame his beliefs on his culture.

“Let’s start with: he is Nigerian. That’s his culture. They are allowed and willing to have many wives. But you know, Simon has been coming to America since he was 17, and I’m an American. So we will have a wife and a husband. ”

Porsha and Simon officially announced their relationship – then engagement – in May 2021. Simon was previously married to By Porsha The Real Housewives of Atlanta costar Falynn Pina. They were still married when he met Porsha and divorced soon after. Porsha start her Real housewives journey with her ex-husband, a former soccer player Kordell Stewart. The two broke up in 2013. In 2019. Porsha gave birth to a daughter, Pilar Jhena, who she shares with ex-finacé Dennis McKinley.
