Police watchdog investigates police-involved shooting in Richmond, B.C. – BC

British Columbia’s police watchdog has been referred to as to Richmond following a police-involved capturing on Tuesday afternoon.
RCMP say officers arrived on the 7300-block of Turnill St. after 1 p.m. following stories of a person with a weapon.

Officers positioned a person matching the outline of the suspect and began to cordon off the world.
“Law enforcement officials started to interact with the person and photographs have been fired by police,” RCMP mentioned in a press release.
The person was rushed to hospital in critical situation.
The Unbiased Investigations Workplace of BC, which probes police-related incidents involving demise or critical hurt, has taken over the investigation.
Witnesses are requested to contact IIO BC investigators.
