Police release footage of suspected North Delta, B.C. arsonist – BC

Greater than three months after a residential home fireplace in North Delta, B.C., police have launched footage of the suspected arsonist.

Police say investigators’ efforts to determine the person have been unsuccessful.

The suspect was captured on digital camera pouring an accelerant onto a wooden pile by the facet of the home.

“Because the video proof reveals, the hearth was deliberately set,” stated Sgt. James Sandberg of the Delta Police Division main crimes unit, in a Thursday press assertion.

“We’re releasing clips from surveillance video that captured the arson and are asking for the general public’s help in figuring out the suspect.”

Police responded to the home fireplace early within the morning on June 28, and whereas the home was occupied when the flames went up, nobody was injured.

The suspect is described as a skinny, white male with an extended goatee, quick hair and receding hairline. He has tattoos on his forearms, and wore a t-shirt and wrap round his legs and torso.
