Police continue to investigate Edward William Phalen homicide 10 years later – Halifax

Right now marks 10 years since a father of 4 was killed in Trenton, N.S. as police proceed to analyze the killing.

On Oct. 25, 2011, Edward William Phalen was shot outdoors of a house on Mechanic St. in Trenton.

The RCMP mentioned he was the sufferer of a murder.

“He should have met any person within the yard right here, as a result of that they had their confrontation proper right here I suppose,” Darrell Buell, a relative of Phalen’s spouse Veronica, instructed International Information in regards to the murder in 2011.

“There was simply two loud bangs,” he added.

Buell additionally mentioned Veronica, the sufferer’s spouse, was placing their 4 kids to mattress when her husband was killed.

The RCMP mentioned in a launch on Monday their investigation has revealed the sufferer left his house to go to a close-by comfort retailer round 7:45 p.m. the night he was killed.

Police consider there are individuals who have data that would lead to an arrest and expenses.
