Letting children use the Internet, especially unsupervised, always comes with risks. Various tools and subsections of websites have created ways to help filter unwanted content from being viewed by underage eyes and Pokimane think it’s time Twitch do like that.

Twitch streamers focus on different topics, like sharing gameplay with fans or providing viewers with insights into a person’s real life or excursions in an IRL stream. Many will likely agree with Pokimane, as NSFW content has expanded across the platform. Implementing rules or filters cannot guarantee the safety of children’s viewing, and therefore cannot block them. Twitch total. However, adding a curated channel list or a filter specifically for kids can at least help weed out the most serious content.
